Currently I am using a Pantech C120 under AT&T Go plan, but thinking of using the same phone and change it to T-mobile prepaid plan. Can I do that and how?

You are going to need to get at&t to unlock the phone. Next you will need a tmobile prepaid sim. After that, your good to go.

The prepaid kit used to be $50 and included the sim card.

Warning: I have an unlocked, Cingular-branded (AT&T) Pantech C120 I'm using with T-Mobile pre-paid service right now. I can't send or (properly) receive text messages to/from email addresses.

Have you out in the t-mobile settings for text and picture messages?
