Does anyone have any practical experience with this? I have a T68i and the reception has always been marginal in my house, working only in one corner of the second floor. As I recall my Nokia 8260 was better and the much older Ericsson phone I had was much better than both. I am starting a "campaign" with T-Mobile to try to replace the handset since the reception has gotten worse over the last year. I would consider upgrading the phone to the 610 if I felt that I would get better reception to go with the increased feature content. Has anyone made such a switch? Can you comment one recption in fringe areas? Anyway, I'm new to the board and your help is appreciated.
Aloha,
Colin
PS I've read both reviews listed here and they are both listed as "average"

The reception of the T610 is sometimes worse than the T68i, especially in areas of dodgy network coverage.

I had the T68i for quite a few months and then fell in love with the T610 and had to have it. I have no regrets, it is an amazing phone that does everything better than any other phone. Howerver, it does fall short in terms of reception. The t68i was 'marginally' better. The only place I really dont get reception is in my house. Thats what a landline is for though. I accept this though as I love my phone.

I'm not crazy about my T610's reception, honestly. As much as people love mocking those crazy plastic Jokias, their reception is handsdown much better as a whole than our beloved Sony Ericssons.

I have had the T68i for 2 days, and the reception is much worse than my Samsung R225 (free phone with sign up). I bought this used, and I am sending it right back tomorrow. I should be able to talk and move around my house or come inside my home while talking on this mobil phone. I am very dissappointed, because I bought this phone for the bluetooth capabilty. Can anyone give me advice on a good phone (T-mobil) that is bluetooth capable?

@graymatthews
Even though the T68i is legendary, it's signal capabilities fall short of the strength of some Nokias. If you want a good modern phone with BT (Bluetooth), I suggest that you check out the T630 from SE. In fact, TMobile has tied up with SE to release a special edn. black colored T630. It has good new features and also has BT and a good screen.
