Can you view the contents of a text message, who it was sent to and vis versa either on line at the sprint website or through a mailed statement? I have employees over using text messaging and they swear it is business only. What do you think. I pay the bill. I should be able to see the contents of the texts. Am I off base?

I'm thinking they may count that as a privacy thing, but maybe in BetoMario get's on, since he is deep inside Sprints Customer Care, he may be able to answer that better then I.

Just a suggestion.Consider paying for unlimited text messaging and stop micro-managing your employees.
they'll be happier and so will you! (With all due respect, this is not meant to sound rude but it sounds like there are other issues there and there will be more if you start reading their text messages- no one wants a boss like that!)

The boss is paying for a service for business use, he has every right to expect the phone to be used for business. In many instances going to unlimited texts would double the cost of the plan, and doubling costs to be a 'nice boss', isn't exactly in the cards for most companies.

The contents of the text message cannot be viewed, because it is a privacy thing. I think the privacy act disallows that information from being public.
Yeah, if he doesn't want them to have texting at all he could do that. It may be possible to see who they are texting through the online account manager, but it would not show what the message is.
