I gave my sister a couple old phones, but she says they wont work and she needs a my favs phone? Never heard of this.

She's probably trying to activate a my favs plan. To do that, you have to use a my favs phone (a phone that included the my favs software). After you activate the phone, you can switch to an unlocked phone normally without a problem.

i just got a Rizr and im thinkin about unlocking it and i have a myfaves plan and im not sure that if i unlock it will it still have the myfaves capabilitys on it and let me chamge them and all that since its unlocked so can some one shed some light on me.

If you bought the phone from tmobile and unlock it, it will still have all the tmobile software in it. The only way to get rid of that software is to flash the phone. In that case, you would have to manange my favs online via my tmobile.

I successfully unlocked a Nokia 6103b from T-Mobile, and the myFaves functionality on the phone did not change with unlocking it.
