I KNOW I have songs on my SD card. They will even play on the phone. But when I search for "music?" 0 files! So I sync it with my computer? It shows "Samsung Beat Memory Card" with ~400 Mb left. So? Well the computer ALSO knows there are songs on it (it is a 1Gb card). But there are NO FILES.

I've called customer support FIVE times. Every time I have to go through THREE people to get to the "gurus" for the Beat. And each time? We go through the SAME steps and find NOTHING.

The files are on the card. I can't find them though! Anybody out there smarter than the T-mobile "experts?"

Thank you.

Any chance the files are in hidden mode. That would explain not being able to see them.

Never even HEARD of "hidden mode," but since it is the first novel idea I've heard? How would a non-technophile KNOW if my files are in "hidden mode?"

Thanks.

Put the memory card into your computer and double click on it in my computer. Then click view, folder options. I forget the exact name of the tab, but one of them will be a white box with a lot of options. It isn't the file types tab, I know that. From there, you can fix an option for showing hidden and system file. Select show all files from that option. See if anything shows up then.

I can't find anything on my phone when it's connected to the computer, except the pictures and songs I put on it. My SD card doesn't work at all. Now i'm trying to find a way to add cell phone games I downloaded to my computer (JAR FILES).

hello,

not kewl to hear about your samsung device not reading the files. What file format are these files? I had a samsung phone and the same thing happened, it was not until my jr year in college that I learned of DMR. Samsung phones do not get along with mp3 or any other music file format that you did not buy the right to play on the phone.

hope this helped.

Good point. Are you using unrestricted files? what format are your music files and where did you get them from?

did you install the cd prior to putting music onto the phone? sometimes you need the program in order for the songs to work on the phone
