where r u from McGirk? I'm from the same place as Madison101 and yeah our weather is very extreme. Winters can be literally deadly cold and Summers soooo very hot. I love the summer though. I'm built for hot weather.

Being surrounded by the Great Lakes makes our summers hot, and STICKY. Dry heat is a pleasure compared to that awful humid mess that we get in the summer.

I don't mind the humidity either. I actually lived in Newfoundland (no i'm not a newfie but my daughter is 1/2) and it was very humid. the daytime highs were about 45 degrees celcius and about 38 celcius in the shade and I loved it. Hot weather is my fav.

I can only take off so much before people start to complain, if I'm cold I can put on as much as I need. But I think that 50 degrees Farenheit is t-shirt weather, and start to feel sick in the 80's.

I lived in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. The valley in the summer time really holds the heat well and since Nova Scotia is a penninsula, we are surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on 3 sides. In the valley it can get majorly humid. All we did is cross over the mountain to the ocean and breath in that heavenly cool air. 10 minutes drive and we got a deprive from the humidity.

Only relief for me would be central air, which broke last summer.

This should go under "Things you Hate" thread but cos we are still talking "air". What I don't like is that it can get desperately hot here in the summer. I come to work and have to wear a sweater because the air conditioning is turned so high. When you go out for a smoke or whatever, it hits you like a ton of lead.
