My gramps had smoked for longer . . . one day he was reaching into a new carton trying to get a pack out, and veered into the other lane, he looked just in time to get back into his lane before he got crushed by a semi, he looked at the carton, rolled down the window and tossed it out, hasn't smoked since. Smoking is cool, but not THAT cool.

My grandfather smoked almost since the day he was born. He smoked that Zigzag tobacco, rolled his own. He could be on top of a roof reshingling, in the wind, and roll one with one hand and never miss a beat. What killed him, he was 76, was crossing the road and he was struck by a car.

I think it helped that he was smoking his own rolled cigarettes, something tells me those don't have as many additives.
