Where are you at again? I haven't seen the ground in a while, or the roads for that matter, most of the plow contracts in this state require there to be 3" before they plow, so if it's only an inch we can slip around some. We've been getting snowed on, but not very much at a time lately.

I'm used to the snow and they don't plow any of the side roads here or in the residential areas. The snow they get here (Alberta) compaired to Nova Scotia is next to nothing.however.not sure I can ever get used to the cold they have here. It was 25 below most of last week and now I am told we are in for a COLD SNAP! OMG, I thought that WAS a cold snap.

Wind chill is making it feel that cold here, but it is actually only in the single digits.

When I left Nova Scotia we had two blizzards and three snow storms that week, the airport was closed for a day and I was wondering if I would be leaving at all, Went from there to live in southern cal and landed in the middle of a rain storm. Gotta love weather!

Here in Michigan we say "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes." It actually can change that quick. I watched white out condition snow, just an hour later see it all melted off, to two hours later, white out snow again, and it finished the evening with rain. I played in a football game the featured rain, sleet, and snow all in the same game.

I am fairly new here to alberta, we went out camping the last week of August in the foothills of the Rockies last year, left in the warm sunshine, caught rain along the way, got to camp and set up just after the rain stopped.
Now the first summer I spent here, August was extremely hot so.thinking that would be a good week to hav the last camping trip of the year.NOT
Had rain for the first 2 days, thought it was going to clear up on the third, but dang if we didn't get HAIL!. That campfire never went out till the last day because it was so cold, except for the day we left, back to t-shirts and shorts
