If I call someone from a US state to a long distance US state, it's long distance (obviously).
If the person I call in the other state is on vacation in a different country and I call them, will it remain long distance or international long distance?

For you? Long Distance.
For them? International Roaming. It means they will pay, but this of course if you're calling them on their US number on their US cell phone. If it's an international number, then there is a possibility it'll cost you both.

acctually it depends on your plan
if you have a nation wide plan ( no LD , no RM ) and your dialing another US #( no matter where they are) its standard biling for YOU , as long as you are in teh us
