Sprint EVDO Is faster than all other service providers.
then again its Sprint. the worst cell provide known.
How do you figure? sprint has the best coverage in america. sure cs has been an issue lately but who needs cs if your product works properly? and a side note, the new ceo is working on the cs issue and sprint should have excellent cs like they used to several years ago.
No, Sprint roams the best out of any other carrier in America. VZW has the best native CDMA coverage.

Heck it would be nice to get 3G in iowa.so when I get out of college and hopefully get a job in Des Moines, I can use a broadband adapter through AT&T! But I did get to try out 3G service in KC on my LG Trax and I thought the Edge network here in Des Moines ran better.

best coverage?
look at the coverage map at the sprint site. then open a second window and compare to the ATT map.
please report back on your findings please
LMAO, I know thats right, at&t has by far a MUCH bigger coverage area, must faster internet, and is far superior, its not even funny!
Faster Internet? I Think not. sprint wimax is hitting speeds up to 60 megs. That's faster than landline broadband. next year when the nation wide rollout hits, they will revolutionize how people connect to the internet.

I have to admit, I've been reading up on Sprint's WiMax, but I have my doubts. I mean, seriously, a cell phone download that's faster than landline broadband? Who would have ever thought it possible?
And then, what is the service going to look like when it's launched? Probably major cities, and the rest of America is going to be left in the dust. I mean, my area alone is still waiting on 3G coverage for AT&T AND Sprint's "faster" EV-DO speeds as well.
Sad to say, the fastest internet as far as wireless carriers in my area is (and it pains me to think this) U.S. Cellular.
True the top markets get the goods first. wimax will keep getting faster, and remember it's also limited to server backbone. but it still paves the way for exciting new technologies. wimax phones are still at least a year away. first wimax devices coming out are wireless labtop cards.
