Is there a way to disable my phone from asking permission to add every file to my phone. Just a little bit of a pain answering yes to 2gb of songs.

That depends on how you're adding them to your phone. Via cable there should be no permissions questions - if you're putting them on via bluetooth then you need to go into your bluetooth menu and set your device as an always allowed source.

you should just set the phone to usb connection mode not phone.
