help, i cant find the batteries for the boomblaster in the crime lab?

Hey everybody!
ok, can anyone help me?
I'm only in the second episode thing, you guys are mostly way ahead of me!
I just found the ice pick a second ago after reading on here that I should look for it 
and the plates fell down and Leonard got fired.
so what do I do now?

plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz some one tell me that how to analyze the dollar and flyer in DNA machine.i mean i can put the things to analyze but howw to check the resultttttt? it says " i should check the prevous results" how to do thissssssss:((

it's simple.once u have analyzed an item go 2 the other computer opposite the DNA machine (beside the elevator) and click on it to retrieve the results.its simple as that.
BY THE WAY.I AM STUCK IN EPISODE TWO AS I CAN'T FIND THE BATTERIES FOR THE BOOMBLASTER IN THE CRIME LAB.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME.

You should be go next to the eddie's computer. You'll be find there!
So i always stuck in the end of third episode when i meet Grant.

The batteries are next to the crime lab dude's computer.
ok, I've gotten further since I last posted. I figured it all out!
I'm slightly stuck again. I'm up to the part after I've gotten the bouncer a job at the pub and I have the golden chain and I've given it to the gangsters in the club to "investigate" and I've unlocked the big rusty lock with the big rusty key. I have the hair sample and I've had it DNA tested. now I dunno what to do next.
any help?

You should go next to the table of gangsters. There, in a little pocket behind the table, you will find the little key able to open the other lock: gangsters are anable to see you now!
