My question is.if i put my t-mobile sim card in it, will it work, will they know that im useing a semi-stolen phone?

They are going to get the imei when you turn the phone on, so if they wanted they could look up who is using the phone.
My thoughts, its been 3 months, if tmobile wanted that phone back, they would have said something.

I think you're good to go. Worse case scenario: they'll ask for the phone to be returned! Oh no! Haha. That, or sell it and buy something else

I can't say why but after about 3 months they haven't a clue!
T-Mobile losses more phones mis-delivered by UPS than imaginable!
They are for sale left and right on E-Bay, and for that matter your down the road neighbor could be using your phone that NEVER made it to your door!
They do nor have a clue! Too many phones to keep up with and too few of a staff!
