I've been a Verizon customer for a very long time and have been looking to get a BlackBerry Pearl for a while. It just so happened that my roommate has an old Pearl that's in great shape that he's given to me for free, but it's a Cingular phone. Is there any way that I can still use this phone, or will Verizon not recognize/accept a phone like this?

The device likely operates on different technology. GSM phones for AT&T and VZW runs on CDMA.
