I went to cash my 50.00 rebate check and even though it had my name on the check it still scanned as "Do not cash, call police". Bi-lo called the law. You will not believe what all I went through yesterday with the law. The officer had to follow me to my house and get on my computer and and see where I filled out for the rebate check. Thank the good lord I scanned my rebate information before I mailed it to T-mobile. The officer then called T-mobile. T-mobile told him that they didn't know why the check came back as fraud. The officer told me he didn't have to investigate it, that he could of took me on to jail and let the judge decide, but he felt I was telling the truth so he invetigated it. T-mobile apologized and said they will send out another check and void the old one out. Personally I feel they owe me more than just another check. The check came back as another name also when it scanned. I am scared to death what the next check will do and if the same thing happens then the next officer may not investigate it and be as nice as this officer was. I just might go to jail next time.

I agree that your incident isn't desirable and should not have happened, but hopefully you can keep a positive outlook.
Give T-Mobile a call because I too think you should try for some sort of compensation for what you went through. Speak with a supervisor to see if you can get a percentage knocked off your bill or something along those lines.
