what does it specifically say? if it says, "phone lock", then you need to call samsung tech support for the reset code its just that, a reset would also delete data stored on the phone. But if it says, "sim locked", put in the previous sim card that the phone use to have and make sure to go to settings afterward to turn off the sim lock.
If the phone is PUK blocked, i'm afraid you will have to get a new sim card because that sim car is fried.

the reset code on samsungs is *2767*3855# but in the title he says phone freeze which meens to many bad code inputs and needs unlocking by pro box. puk code you get from your provider
