I bought a tmobile razor but I have cingular. I'm wondering how I can unlock it to use it with cingular. It doesn't request any sort of code. When I place my cingular sim card in it, it just says "CONTACT SERVICE PROVIDER". Can I unlock this myself? Thanks a lot.

Normally you have to be a tmobile customer for 90 days in order for them to unlock the phone.
Post this in the moto forum. There is a guy there that can unlock.

You needto call Motorola and they will give you the code to unlock it

I just wanted to say that I called Motorola about my Razor V3 and they told me to call Tmobile. I have the same issue. I bought my Razor Pink Miami Ink edition on Ebay and now can't do anything. i have paid a Service to unlock it but got nothing for my money! Motorola said that they advise to call carrier. Tmobile will not unlock unless you are their customer, or you have an ORIGINAL ebay reciept. Anyone that could help me also would BE GREAT!

Did you post into the moto forum? They may be able to unlock your phone.
