I have verizon and unlimited text, and I've been using mobile IM alot, I mean i used 1000 text with mobile IM yesterday. But my question is does it charge data? I went into my account on my phone and it said i used 0.20MB data. I havent used anything else that could of used data, no internet or anything, so im just wondering if that is from Mobile IM or texting even, if so will it show up on the bill as overages?

There has been an issue with the system since they took on the megabyte usage rather than minute usage for data.a picture message can cause data to be used.
If you call customer service and explain to them they you don't use the internet and you don't use data then they will credit you the 2 dollar charge without much of a problem.
Hope all works out!
And ask them to block out data so you never get charged for it.
