I'm sorry, but Sanyo is low grade dogfood when it comes to televisions. The clue should have been that you only spent 350 on a 35", the next clue is only the cheapest companies make 35", the nice ones make 36". I sold at a major audio/video sales location for three years. If I am going to buy a large tv it would have to be from only a few brands. Sony, JVC, or Toshiba. I paid 300 for my 27, and that was cost, it origninally sold for 530. Stuff like Sanyo, GE, RCA, Zenith, Apex, Konka, and the like are just not gonna hold up, or look all that good while you own it. An easy trick on a CRT television is to look at it while it is off. The darker the screen, the nicer the tv. Look at a the good brands off, then look at the cheaper ones, you will see a difference. It may cost more, but it'll last longer and look better doing it.

I know, CRT = Cathode Ray Tube. And what I was talking about was tubes. Not as up on the other ones, although I've heard that LCD's can have issues with artifacting in higher fps scenes, generally you shouldn't have a problem with them.

We just bought a new 32 LCD HDTV at walmart for $449. Not bad either for a TOSHIBA

That's sounds like a good price for the tv.

Be careful, there are a lot of people calling a tv digital, which technically is nothing new in a tv. Digital and HD do not mean the same thing, and a lot of tv's will also say HDready, and I mean large HD and itty bitty ready.
