I've tried 2 different sd cards for my razr v3m and my phone doesn't seem to recognize either of them. The first i wasn't positive if it was compatible so i got a second one off the net that said it was specifically for my model and i still can't access it is there something I'm doing wrong. Can i take pics and store them to the card, or even take info from my pc and get to it on the phone. What am I doing wrong

What size card did you get, the V3M is an older phone, and may only be capable of reading cards 1gb or smaller. Next, the phone usually put's files on the card when you install it into the phone, if it is possible to drag and drop files, then you can do it that way, but it would be easiest with an sd or transflash card reader. Now for the bad news, most cell service providers force the manufacturers to make there phones not recognize files that are obtained from outside of their system, that way they can sell them things like ringers and wallpapers. Alltel does not do this, but most others do. With my old Motorola, I was capable of taking pictures and storing them on the memory card.

As a note for future reference, this would have been answered sooner in the Motorola Talk page.

Other than the size limit try formatting the disk with your phone. it may not be formatted.
