It's not as if Unlimited Plans weren't heard of. Sprint and Nextel have had them for some time, although not for this low a price, and a now defunct 'Luxury' service provider was always unlimited. What's the big deal?

it's the Marketing merry-go-round
ATT had an unlimited plan years ago when GSM was rolling out service (2001 timeframe).limited time offer .it was a VERY successful campaign. time went by. and sales needed a boost for what-ever reason.and here we go again
