Oops, I jinxed it. Had the "Unregistered SIM" problem in the Metro Mall area today. It figures.
I'd love to be able to call this tech myeslf.

After several more 'replacement' Motorola phones, I decided enough was enough. I tried the Duo (a little more complicated than I wanted), then settled on the Shine, by LG. While I was in the Flowood store, a rep said something that no one else has yet. He told me that they have been having issues with the 3G network in the Jackson area. Every time they go to make changes at the various sites (towers, I assume), they reset it. This dumps everyone off the network for a few seconds. ONLY the V3xx and V9 users are having an issue where the phones will not automatically hop back on board the network. Cycling the power (as we all know) for the phone forces it to grab on and start working again. So, they are working on it, but I simply didn't have the patience to stick it out. I wonder why customer service and warranty exchange aren't in the loop on this? Hey, I did get a new phone (free), and a few credits to my account for all my trouble, and was allowed to keep my V9, too. So if it ever gets resolved, I can go back to it if I want. Good luck to all those who still have these phones.
