1. Remove SIM CARD !
2. Type #
3. Then press the * key 3times (you should get a "p")
4. Then press the * key 4times (you should get a "w")
5. Then press the * key 2times (you should get a "+")
6. Then enter: 428327643635633
7. Then press the * key 2times(you should get a "+")
8. Then enter: 7
9. Enter: #
IF UNLOCK SUCCEEDS YOU SHOULD SEE RESTRICTION REMOVED ON SCREEN, YOUR PHONE IS NOW UNLOCKED!

Thanks. I did it and nothing happened. It just shows all the numbers. Do you have to do anything after that? Or is it possible it may already be unlocked?

My sister's phone was stolen and locked by some teenagers. The police recovered it, but she doesn't know how to unlock it.
It's a Motorola RAZR V3C from TELUS in Canada.
Is it possible to unlock it ourselves?
I'm not sure which # is the IMEI as there are several different strings of numbers on the back.
