Turn down LG CU400 intro volume

Is there any way to turn down the volume on the screens that come on when the phone is turned on/off? Very loud and distracting when you turn it on/off in public.

Sadly, there is no way to reduce the startup volume on this phone.

Unless you use "flight mode"- but that also cancels alarms, ringers etc. That start up/shutdown noise is the only thing i hate about this phone.

i have the lg cu575 but i get no service even with AT&T's network.
