Is there any way to turn down the volume on the screens that come on when the phone is turned on/off? Very loud and distracting when you turn it on/off in public.

Sadly, there is no way to reduce the startup volume on this phone.

Unless you use "flight mode"- but that also cancels alarms, ringers etc. That start up/shutdown noise is the only thing i hate about this phone.

oooooh yeah.
i have the lg cu575 but i get no service even with AT&T's network.

Why not? My service is so reliable I've gotten rid of my house phone.

I don't really know.Not all concerned now, though.
Somebody stole my RAZR2 and my LG.
