Hello. I have just found out that my family plan may be switched over to Verizon. I am wondering how or if, the current phones that we are using can be used on the verizon network? For example, My newphew just got a slider, and if we move to verizon, can he use his phone? I am having issues with my razor v3, and if I move , what will it take to use them on the new network> I ask this because I have heard that verizon does not use sim cards. any help or info would be awesome! thankz!

If its a cingular/AT&T phone then no.
Reason because the phones work on two diffrent technologies of systems and wouldnt be compatible
AT&T uses GSM and Verizon uses CDMA
Verizon can put other phones on other networks like Sprint or T-mobile because they are CDMA technology phones to a limited extent.
