I recently bought moto q9c from sprint for the price of $149.99 two weeks ago, to be specific feb 6th 2008 and today it is Feb 23rd 2008. Its a new contract.
When i checked the price of the phone online i see it to be $99.99 does sprint refund me back the $50, which i had spent extra?
I am ok with the phone but i just want the extra money that i spent to be back in my pocket.
example. When one buys electronics from a best buy or circuit city , if the price dopes for a certain electronic that one has bought, within 30 days they refund you the money. Does sprint also have do this?

Buying that phone is not exactly the same as buying an appliance or electronic item. You've already paid less then what Sprint paid for it, as you're paying the rest of it off by keeping their service. Sprint has a 30 day policy where you can cancel, and then you could resign with them to get the price.
Just give account services a call they will hook you up

I'm sure in the long run they'll get taken care of, but I was hoping to explain the difference of business models between standard retail, and the cell phone industry.

Well In Illinois And I'm Sure Other Places, It May Even Be A Federal Law, But If The Price Drops Within 30 Days Or Less, Your Entitled To The Difference.

Perhaps, but in most sales, the items are purchased at a discount because of a contract. Not only that, but you could also be dealing with some locations dropping the price, where another one is not, or special internet only discounts. Many times there are also internet only specials that are for new customers only, not upgrades. There are a lot of details that were not covered in the initial post.
