I tried putting it into vibrate only mode and sure enough it didn't vibrate at all. I really need a vibrate mode so that I don't have to use a silence mode where I have to check it manually every minute to see if someone is trying to call me. does anyone know how I could fix this? Or is anyone else having the same issue?
I also have another problem with the phone when I try using my old memory card. I can view the pictures on it, but when I try to use the pictures as backgrounds on my phone it can't seem to recognize that there are any pictures in the memory card at all?
Can someone please help me. :]

With front of the phone facing you, on the left hand side of your phone is the volume control. If you notice, at the bottom left corner is a box for you to check that says vibrate. You have to check mark that box. Then your phone will vibrate with sound on or off.
