I just ordered a phone thru Tmobile on Thursday, online, and everything went through smoothly. Now, I know that my credit is horrible, and I was thinking it would tell me I'd have to pay a deposit or something.but it didn't say anything about that. A few hours after placing the order, I called Tmobile and spoke to an agent and asked her about it, and she looked up the order and said that everything looks good, that I'm a "regular customer" (as opposed to a customer who would have to pay up front each month rather than wait for the bill to come), and she said there wouldn't be a deposit required. But I'm still somewhat anxious about it all. Granted, my credit history isn't bad due to not paying phone/utility bills, it's because of credit cards and because of a recent bankruptcy, which I actually filed Thursday morning. But I'm wondering if when I get the phone and try to activate it, if it's going to tell me that I can't because of my credit.
I'm wondering if any of you have ordered a phone/plan online with Tmobile, it went thru fine, and then when you went to activate it it wouldn't let you (?).

I think your ok. Since they didn't tell you anything yet, it appears you are not going to need a deposit. The credit check was already ran based on what you said, and it appears you passed.

I agree. I think you will be fine, but to be sure, give Customer Care another call for your verification and peace of mind in knowing that you really are approved. I encourage this because you said that you filed for bancruptcy the morning of your application to T-Mobile. I am sure that kind of information might take a few days to circulate and that may hinder your status. Get ID#'s and names should you call back just in case there is a problem ultimately.
Good luck, though!
