First: insert your micro M2 card into the phone to create the necessary folders. Then plug your micro M2 card into your mac with an adaptor into a usb port and open the music folder. Next, open Audacity (free) and import a song from your itunes music folder (user/music/itunes/itunes music) or any song you have access to. For some reason not all songs will import so find one that will. Edit the song to about 30 sec or less and export as a .wav file. Then using Switch (also free) convert file to an mp3. Make sure file is under 600kb. If it is not, go back to Audacity and make the clip shorter. When it is the correct size, drag the clip into the music folder of the phone. Properly eject the card from the Mac and place it into the phone. Now, in the phone preferences, go to Sounds and Alerts/Ringtone/Ringtones and you will find the audio clip there.select it and you have your own custom ringtone for free!

Just export out of Audacity as an MP3 . no extra steps are needed. Just make sure you have the LAME encoder in the Audacity folder. You can also make ringtones directly from iTunes.
