I have a Sharp 770SH phone, and a 1gb micro SD card, and I am trying to put java software onto it. I have yet to find any instructions on the web, so thought I would ask someone directly on a forum. The various web sites I have gotten these apps from have not mentioned any instructions on how to use them.
Any advice for how to possibly install these files would be much appreciated.
I also have a blue tooth dongle that I can connect my phone to my PC to (although, it has gone walkabouts at this moment in time)

I think your question is not clear, may be you alreday figure out how to do yourself by now.
anyway, just in case, the jar extension is a text file and not a java program, it is simiar to a log file in window. usually in your pc after your install or download java program.
to install program in your Sharp PDA, just check the OS used and follow the instruction to install the program, no special instruction to instal every program in your cell phone.
My PDA phone and Nokia used S60 system, some using Microsoft Mobile Ver 6.1.
Hope this help.
Thank You

Did you actually read my post? I was asking for help with installing java files to my Sharp 770SH phone. There are NO instructions on how to do this included with the phone, and nothing on the various websites. How is this not clear?
Thank you for letting em know that .jar files are text files, as most mobile websites have these for their game download, so am guessing that all of them are scamming people by getting them to download text files that they do not want.scary
Nevermind anyone trying to help. Obviously the people on this forum not only don't understand a simple question, but are unable to even write clear English.
