Hi i was just wondering if someone could answer the infamous iphone questions. so ok o2 have sole rights to iphone in the UK, are the unlocked versions safe to buy?also if i buy i second have one that was bought from o2 will it work if i place my sim in it.please someone advise me as i seriously want this phone

it **may** only work for voice. the access point for data required is unique to the carrier. so as long as the software in the phone wasnt altered it should be OK.

many poeople use iphones in canada from an american carrier. since the carrier doesn't have customization for the iphone, it should be fine.

hammi_poop i own an unlocked iphone and it works just fine with another carrier. Basically if the iphone is unlocked it should work with any sim cards in the world.
