tha phone is a SE w580i, i just bought it yesterday. i was tryin to send a picture message and it says something about an "internet profile".  i dont have internet on my account right now, if i purchase it, will it work? im not to good at figuring this stuff out  .please, i would appreciate any help. thanx.

Go to support.t-mobile.com and search for MMS settings. It will give you the setting you need to put in the internet profile. Then you are going to need to go through your phones manual to figure out where to go to put the settings in.
And yes, tmo does have internet for all phones.

Of course there are limitations to what the not-so-smart phones will provide, but yes, all phones should be able to access some form of the internet.

If you're attempting to send a picture message, T-Mobile has a text and picture message bundle at 400 texts for $4.99 a month. You will have to subscribe to this service if you have not already.
If you have the service in place now and that message occurs, then I am sorry but I cannot help in that case. Give Customer Care a call (661 from handset) and they can guide you through your dilemma. Or visit the website for help like mpapple10 mentioned.

I have bought an unblocked Sony Ericsson W580i and I have T-Mobile for my provider. I can't use the internet (paid already) because I ccan't set up the phone. I have tried many times to contact the customer service for help but have toldme to use the sony ericsson web side for the setting. I tried and nothing no setting received, no messages, nothing. I need help with setting. T-Mobile doesn't have this phone or doesn't support it, I don't know?
PLEASE CAN SOBODY HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM?

I have tried to set up manualy nothing. It returned with error 504, contact your operator. I think to pay $200 fee for terminating the contract with t-mobile and go with ATT. I don't have any other coices.
I have done the following:
T-MobileWeb settings
IP address; APN; Home page; MMS
I still receive the error. I am tired to contact the customer service ther are not going to help me with anything so, I will request the contract's termination because of unvalid service provided by t-mobile.

I don't think so. Sony Ericsson is not a dumb phone. Usually every phone needs to work with every service provider. I can say that T-Mobile is dumb service provider according to my experience with them. The phone works perfectly fine just the service is not good.
