A friend mine has a LG VX8300 cell phone through Verizon. Someone is taking control of her text messages as she types. They literally type messages.
I am reading about snoopware and other types of stalking behavior.
I have heard about turning on cameras and mics on smart phones but never a basic phone like the LG.
Does anyone know where I can read more about this? Verizon is really no help in this matter.
Thanks!

Noone can get into her phone and write txt messages. the 8300 has a few bugs, especially the newer software versions. crazy things will happen with that phone and it has nothing to do with any new spyware rumors that are going around. I know its not very exciting, but the simple truth is, she got a lemon and needs a replacement.
