I downloaded a MP3 file ringtone that I really want to put onto my phone (W580i).
I succsesfully put it onto my phone and can see it on there. Its just that when I try to "Use this as your ringtone" it says that I can't!
Do I need to put it into a specific folder or convert it into a special format? I really really would appreciat some feedback!

it's probably too long or large of a file size. trim it to less than 30 sec, iono what the size limit is.

Yeah I just got a W580i and was really mad the first day I got my phone because I found out we couldnt use a MP3 for a ringtone. But today I found a website that allows it. I just out through making many ringtones of different lengths of the same song that the longest it could be is 50 seconds. I dont know where you got your ringtone but for the website I use its 50 seconds max

you can use mp3, it's dependent on length and size.
