Guys,
I have been first to T-Mobile support, who (after 1/2 hour) directed me to Nokia tech support, who (after 1/2 hour) directed me to call MICROSOFT, yes, Microsoft.
I am done with headache support, so I came here hoping someone can help.
I have searched for my issue, but none are closely similar enough to help.
I'm attempting to connect my 6263 model to my PC using the USB cable that came with the phone. It is a DKE-2 I believe.
After the first installation, I was able to get Windows to recognize it, and was able to begin file transfers, but they would fail before completing.
Now I am at the point where no matter what mode I put the phone into, whether it is "Nokia Mode" or Data Transfer Mode, windows will pop up with the error message that goes somewhere along the lines of:
USB Device Not Recognized
One of the devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows is unable to recognize it.
While re-plugging my device in to find the exact error message just now, the found new hardware bubble pops up from teh systray and says Found:
Nokia 6362, then finds some more random USB devices, then PC Suite said "connected in non-compatible USB mode". I let it sit, then it said "Nokia 6362 disconnected via USB." Then, afterwards I tried to go to Nokia Mode, and got the "USB Device Not Recognized" general Windows error.
Please guys, I've uninstalled PC Suite, Connectivity Solution, and the Cable Drivers and reinstalled several times to no avail.
What am I possibly doing wrong?
P.S. I have tried connecting on 2 computers, one desktop running xp home sp2 and one laptop running xp pro sp2. I have one more laptop that has had no contact with my phone or PC Suite, a possible "clean slate" to try from if you guys have any ideas.
Sorry about the small essay but just very frustrated right now.
Thanks for help in advance.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A BLUETOOTH DONGLE.
A USB cable works perfectly fine. Follow these easy steps to get the phone working.
Change the following settings on your phone.
Settings -> Connectivity -> USB data cable -> Nokia mode
It actually has nothing to do with the computer end, it was actually a setting on the phone I had to change.
See, by default, when I connect the USB cable, it displays a message that it's in "music sync" mode, which apparently is completely incompatible with the Nokia PC Suite software. I have not yet found a way to make "Nokia mode" the default--I have to do this EVERY time I connect the USB cable, but at least it works, whereas before I was near tearing my hair out figuring out why it wouldn't. Hope this helps somebody.
