Hi
I really didn't know where to put this topic so I put it here. If moderators find better place for it, please move it.
So here's my story. I am a freshman in High School. I came to US in August 2006. Came here from Poland. My step-dad is an American citizen who lived in Poland for 15 years. He had T-Mobile in US so first day in US I bought T-Mobile prepaid pack. Unfortunately, where I live we do not get reception. Around the area most of the places get coverage but it's not as great as I would expect.
One of the main reasons I chose T-Mobile is that it is a GSM provider and there is no other systems in Poland. So I picked it because I know how it works and I picked phone I am familiar with. Another reason is that it has gold rewards which basically means I can keep my phone number for one year from every refill. And as I don't use my phone as often, I thought it's a great deal.
But now after almost 2 years in the country I got to know a bit more about phones etc. I'm still not very familiar with all those things so I am asking here.
I live in a rural area so reception is not that great. But I'm going to consider getting some monthly plan some time soon. I'm carefully approaching whole market.
I got to know many people's opinions. I've heard T-Mobile is one of the worst mobile operators in US and I also heard that Verizon is one of the best. from other people I heard completely opposite story. So.
Question is how much difference would I see with Verizon using CDMA from what I am used to with T-Mo GSM 1,5 years and good 4 years with GSM in Poland? What about Sprint? What would you recommend me guys?

I Personally suggest sprint. sprint, verizon, and alltel all use the same towers, all cdma. cdma works better in rural areas than gsm. sprint also has good plan's and the best data network in the united states.

 | Not Going To Happen In America. part of that due to gsm is a very old and outdated technology.
