Bought a brand new V3 from a now defunct company.with sim from workable V3 the only message I got was call failed.Tried to send it to Motorola for repair but after the got the IMEI they told me it was German and would not work in the states.Because of different frequencies.
Any truth to that statement? and should I try to get it up or should I just trash it? Thanks for any help you can give me!
Won't work in the us. try selling it on e bay as a european phone.

That bull** V3 is a quadband fone it will work in the US.
If the fone is unlock you do this.
menu--> setting.> net work.> you will see bandwidth is in auto or in 800-1900MHZ change it to 850-1900MHZ

After the first guy told me it wouldn't work here I tried to reflash it for shits and giggles and now I have a V3 the computer won't recognize and won't tunn on---
Do you fix these things for a living? I would like to get this one up and running cause I only got 6 months on my ATT contract --my original V3 died a terrible death and this one was to be a temporary replacement--will you work this one over?
Thanks for your time

My old V3 died a terrible death--run over by a car-the second one (new) only showed 45 seconds on it--I would like for you to fix it--let me know how much you want, how I can pay you (I have pay pal) I sent a message back yesterday but it wasn't allowed--something about a URL although all I put on was my e-mail address
