Macs are horrible. it is nothing but a trend that will fade away shortly. go ahead and get your mac, and when all your favorite software doesn't work don't cry lol. mac's native web browser, safari, doesn't even read some websites correctly.

All right, let's face it, Internet Explorer sucks, it's slow, and full of holes. If I could game on Linux, I would have switched years ago. And if you're talking about Vista, many of your favorite pieces of hardware may no longer work.

Oh yeah, and Windows has a MASSIVE website dedicated to fixes. Millenium sucked so bad that people have to make nearly daily visits to the fix websites just to keep it updated, XP got released years early as a result to fix that massive problem. Then every couple of months Windows needs to release an emergency patch to fix gaping holes in their web browser. You know, the ones that allowed hackers to very easily bypass any software security you had set up on your machine, and steal everything on it.
