hi guys

if youll bare with me, heres my sad story. i woke up one day and my phone was off and wouldnt turn on. after 1.5yrs of faithful service, it would light up the keypad and then flash 3 seconds and off. and repeated itself.

ive been scouring the forums and realized i could go into boot mode

this is what it said

boot loader
08.23
sw version:
r374_g_0e.40.9cr (matched up to the sticker in the back)

then i thought maybe if i could "reinstall" the software i could get things back to normal. i was wrong. no matter what i did, it still wouldnt go all the way to the normal screen.

update: using rsd lite, ive changed the bootloader to 08.26 and tried to reflash with
R374_G_0E.42.17R_noDRM_mlp.shx but it just wont even budge after the reflash

what it now does is the keypad stays lit solid with one vibration. what does that mean?

i just want to be able to get my contacts off the phone. im very desperate.

what should i do guys? much thanks in advance

What model is it? A V3C, V3A, V3M?

Sounds like wrong software or corrupted software (I had a V3C with the very same problems yesterday and a flash fixed it), processor failure or liquid damage. Are the smart buttons and volume buttons in working order. IE do they feel free and click?

I don't recognise the software version that you list. I have flashed numerous V3s but I think the flash is different for various service providers.

Take a T6 driver and remove the rear cover, look for a small white circular sticker, if will be red if the phone has come into contact with moisture.

I have a similar problem, i can turn on (sometimes) the phone, if not. it just flickers until i apply pressured on the keypad, black, motherboard, etc.
and. if it turns on after a while lose signal, menus start freezing, unresponsive keys, screen gets black, until more pressure its applied on the phone black/keypad, i replaced the flex cable, tested the whole phone with another motherboard and worked ok, what can be, i can flash (i did a lot of monsterpack flashing and nothing helps), i have a youtube video showing this problem, how can i post it.
well thanks

sorry for repeated multiposting icon_sad.gif just desperate.
