Does AT+T have PDA's that I can use wi-fi at home or a hotel so I don't have to fire up my laptop to check something quick?
Does checking gmail, or my office microsoft exchange email a pain in the ass on these things?
I'm looking to be cheap and not get a data plan, yet use the internet.
The blackberry's require a special data plan, right?

As far as i know blackberries do incur an extra charge. as for wifi phones the iphone has wifi, though user reviews are mixed, good and bad in both extremeties. personally i think the iphone is just something trendy. as for other phones with wifi attmobility.com should have a lineup of thier current phones and capabilities.

any phone with wifi will suit your purpose.you don't need a data plan on any device. tlit/8525/blackberry 8820
the only phone that requires the data plan is the iphone.

Thanks. I'm going to go to Best Buy and try out some models.
I really don't want an iPhone. I think they are ridiculously expensive, and not as customizable since apple controls everything.

AT+T has a Palm too. Is the Centro any good? I have a z22 now and pretty much use it for an address book that I have to lug around with my phone.
