Hello, I've had this phone for a few months and now it won't turn on correctly. The problem that I'm having with the phone is that, when I go and turn it on. The keypad turns on for a split second then turns off. Then it would kinda just flicker once in a while. The furthest I've gone to turning it on is a quick white screen. Then it goes back to flickering the key pad. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

The white screen is indicative of a failing hinge flex or one of the LCD filters, however. . .

Could be:
liquid damage
failing/unseated processor
button stuck on(smart/vol/keyboard)
keypad backlight filter/LCD filter/PA failure

More details please.

I have a similar problem, i can turn on (sometimes) the phone, if not. it just flickers until i apply pressured on the keypad, black, motherboard, etc.
and. if it turns on after a while lose signal, menus start freezing, unresponsive keys, screen gets black, until more pressure its applied on the phone black/keypad, i replaced the flex cable, tested the whole phone with another motherboard and worked ok, what can be, i can flash (i did a lot of monsterpack flashing and nothing helps), i have a youtube video showing this problem, how can i post it.
well thanks

I think I seem to be having a similar problem. I have a Motorola V3x, and I've had it for almost a year now, for last three days it's been acting all weird. I turn the phone on and everything seems to be okay, until I flip the top to close it, then when I attempt to open that's when it starts flickering, the screen and the keypad. It goes on and off, from bright to dark. Sometimes the screen just stays off and only the keypad goes on. Sometimes nothing goes on but I can still hear dial tones and everything else seems fine. So what I do is I turn it off and wait a few sconds then turn in back on and sometimes I just keep it open (a few times it did start to flicker and I didnt even close it), and sometimes I press hard on the keypad and close it at the same time, and it stays okay even if I open it. I need a solution to this problem, I would appreciate some help please.
About the phone's condition:
I've dropped it around three times, but the last time I dropped it was over 4 months ago, I take good care of it now.
No liquids have been with any contact with the phone.
I do talk on the phone a lot, which sometimes causes back of the phone to become hot. But that never seemed to cause me any problems.
