I am currently on suspension from at&t. I am a sales rep. Made the mistake of taking a phone home to test some things and didn't ask permission. A week after returning it, I got in trouble. I was interrogated and now being investigated. I probably lost my job due to lack of judgement.
I may have used other company SIM cards in the phone. Can they tell? They asked me what I put in in and were mad when I said the phone starts without a SIM.

if the data network was accessed the sim and imei combination are recorded at the point of access. so yes. that info can be retrieved if the person has that level of knowledge
