Hi. I have a VX5300 that randomly went to the Verizon / LG Downloading screen and has stayed stuck there.
I've tried unplugging it for extended periods of time and letting it just sit there, doing its thing. Is there anything else I can do?

Sorry, this isn't an answer. But I have the same problem with my VX8700 now.
I was on it, and when I hung up it died. Then when i plugged it in to charge it, that screen came up, and I can't get it to go away.

remove battery, wait a 30 seconds, reinstall. if that doesn't help, take it to a store, you need the software reloaded.
