Never ask an American to bring beer to a Canadian party, his list of choices usually suck, and will certainly seem watered down. We have the Depression to thank for that. It killed off most of the microbrews and the ones that have started to spring up don't have the distribution or support to become widely available. Not to mention most Americans have become accustom to drinking watered down beers like Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite and the rest of the major breweries. It's not our fault, our dads drank watery beers because it was their only choice, it's a learned habit. Now that we have a choice we continue to make the ones our dad made because it seems natural. My dad didn't drink, so I've done a lot of beer expiramenting. I don't spend a lot of time drinking the watery ones unless someone else is buying.

No worries here, I can bring all the beer ya want and it will be 100% Canadian! I think you would really like the Alexander Keith's Amber Ale. Seems like I am harping on it but it is new and just came out last summer. Ever play caps?

So is that why miller lite has won so many awards for best tasting beer?

I find there are a lot of people here that drink Kokanne too. I have had the rickards red and that is actually alot like the amber keiths. Now here's an interesting little tidbit for ya'll.
I had horses at one time and the ferrier I had was the same person that drove the Aledander Keiths wagon around Halifax in the summer time.

Miller Lite wins taste awards in it's own section full of watery light pilsners, it's not like it is going up against real beers. I'll take any Michelob, Killians Red, any Sam Adams over any Miller product.

They can serve their purpose all they want, but I don't eat low fat items or no sugar items because they don't taste good, same with Miller Lite.
