Anyone heard when t-mobile is releasing this? I'm waiting for this to be released before I switch over from AT+T.

aw, man. That seems like it cost someone some money if they cancelled it, especially if it was already in production. The market for wifi phones in the US as far as I know is Cincinnati Bell, and t-mobile.
I don't know what T-Mobile's love affair with Samsung is.but I want it to stop.

t-mobile hasn't released a samsung for a while, and they are not really releasing any this year. you could always get the phone unlocked and unbranded.
