I purchased a new t-mobile to go pre-paid phone plus a $100 card almost 1 year ago, but have still over 880 minutes left on the phone. I was told by t-mobile support to purchase at leat a $10 card and activiate it which will add 1 more year before the minutes expire since I have a gold membership. Is this true? If so, this is great, if not, I guess I'll loose those 880 minute? Please advise since I have less than 2 weeks before they expire.

You will not lose your minutes if you refill your account before the expiration date. So if you refill today, your balance will be 905 minutes and expiration date will be 04/09/09 .

Barciur - thanks for the quick conformation. wow, that's great. this plan really rocks for low phone use people like me! I just thought it might be too good to be true, that's why as asked. Now, I just might upgrade my $20 Nokia 6030 to a $40 moto V190 w/ bluetooth so I can use it in my new BMW Z4 coupe with built in bluetooth, just hope it's compatible

If you get it from T-Mobile there is no way it will incompatible.
And yes, it is a great plan for people like you and I. I personally refilled my account in August with $25 and now I did it couple days ago. will it last till August?

Yea, sorry I might not have been clear. I plan to get the T-mobile moto v190 to make sure it's compatable with the sim from my t-mobile nokia.
The BMW has built in bluetooth + a large navigation screen that will bring up the contact list from the phone on the nav screen and uses voice commands to answer and place calls. There's a mic built in the steering column and uses the car speakers as well. My wifes moto V325 works great with the car, but that phone is on the bmw approved phone list, the v190 is not on the list so it's a crap shoot.

It's all based on the Bluetooth's "class" programming to work with cars. I don't know much more beyond that, though.
