Im new to att but so far the service has been great. The network coverage has been much better than expected. My question, has anyone had issues when it comes to getting roaming charges from att? Ive read where some have gotten big bills even though they werent supposed to get roaming charges.

with an att plan.(current offers) if you are anywhere in the USA and call anywhere in the USA there is no roaming or long distance
those are CURRENT plans.
older regional plans do not have the same coverage. some people have made some incorrect assumptions with regards to their coverage. you may see some posts here regarding that. usually just people venting.
essentially if you are in the USA and have roaming charges. its a billing error and will be corrected. just dial 611 and it will be fixed
Every company has billing errors. if someone invented a perfect billing system they would be richer than bill gates. the best thing to do when you see a billing error is to simply call customer care, and CALMLY AND PATIENTLY AND NICELY explain your situation. i cannot express this enough. this goes with any carrier. be nice to the csr's they are paid to help you, but they are only human, and have feelings too.
