well my fella works at the recycle plant in our town and often they find things and bring them home, my fella has found several mobile phones before and all been ok,
yesterday he brought home a samsung D900 on virgin network, we are all on orange so i put in my orange sim card and get "limited service" message
i googled and came across this site (seems i cant post links yet, so you could google internationalnumberingplans and tell me what you think? and i didnt understand it, so i tried all the other imei of phones we have in house and compared them so it seems the imei isnt blacklisted, i have done master reset and other things and still have "limited service" message, any suggestions? please and thank you in advance

limited service suggests the phone is locked to virgin.get it unlocked and then try your orange card

If it was locked it would say "Wrong Sim inserted" Or similar.
More than likely a low signal area or the phone has been barred.
I would go for the latter no matter what your website says.
