Unless they can quickly convert them all to qchat. and if they offer free phones for a trade in that may just be possible.

Yeah, it's back a page, but it is a little on the unlikely side. They would be better off picking up Centennial Wireless, it's the same style network.

Ok, Sprint is in business, and business follows the dollar, not some form of emotion. If the offer is right, they'll take it.

If sprint did want to sell they wouldn't be investing billions with partners into thier 4g network.

Oh come on - that doesn't mean anything. Sprint wants to sell so it can recover some more of it's losses. Rumor is Q2 and Q3 results, even even possbily Q4 and Q1 of 2009 will be more of the same as their recent losses. Wake up and realize that Sprint is a lost cause and get ready to jump the sinking ship.

Actually the WiMax venture with Clearwire is spawning a new company. While it is important if it works out for them, it's not necessary for the new entity that Sprint not get purchased.

Sprint is a dead company. No recovery possible, they will only emerge slightlly bruised by selling off their network to other providers, most likely Alltel.

Many can say it, but Sprint is not dead, they can right itself, but they need to start with the place that hurt them the most, and that is their horrible customer service. Their emergency call centers were manned by grossly undertrained employees who generally put you on hold multiple times until you disconnected. If Sprint had spent a billion more on better call centers with better training, they wouldn't be having the problems they are having now, but the guy in charge is making improvements, and we can only hope they will be in time. I don't work for Sprint, but competition leads to better products, and unless Alltel buys them, I think we would all be worse off if they went under.
