So, I Bouht the Sidekick LX with T-mobile, Everythin went will in store, worked fine, Went straight out when I got, So I Get to my home around 11PM, It wass startin to storm so I Said Alright, Maybe the reason why I dont have service is because of the storm, So I Call them the next morning, They said "We are making coverage better in your area, please wait awhile" Seemed funny because the lady at T-Mobile said there was perfect service at my house, and there wasnt, Waited a few weeks, And still no improvment, And I cant even use the phone in my area, Only when im downtown, So Is there a way I can cancle with them and not being charged becuase I Think me not havin service is pretty much Crap.
Thank You all
John

Your best bet is a transfer of ownership. and sell the phone real cheap or give it away as an incentive for someone to take the contract off your hands. they have websites that help with this sort of thing, and also you can try ebay and explain your story. if this does not work, i'm not sure but this used to work, try to put a vacation hold on your line until you can get rid of the contract. that way you minimize your costs while looking for a new owner. it's something like 5 bucks a month for vacation hold, and even if you let the contract run it's course, it's still cheaper than the etf. oh here's something else that's a bit shady, but works. set your phone to roaming mode only. and use it alot. since t mobile doesn't charge for roaming, you won't incur any additional costs. eventually they will break your contract leaving you etf free.

How long have you been active for? Are you in California?
And did you check your coverage on T-Mobile's site?

change or responsibility would work. but seasonal suspened wouldnt. u can only suspend a maximum time of 90days problem with that is if u suspened for 90 days it extends ur contract for 90 days. also seasonal suspeneds is 10 bucks not worth it.
u can maybe sell ur lx for maybe 350 bucks use 200 bucks for the cancelation fee and u pocket 150.
but it sounds like u just got ur LX u do have 14 days to return or 30 days if ur in cali

I use to work for T-mobile. You get 15 days to cancel your contract with no questions asked. It should state that on or around the last page of your contract. To get out of the contract take your phone with box, charger, manual, basically everything that it came with and your contract to the store where you got your phone and inform that you want to cancel due to coverage. They have to cancel it.
I would find the page on your contract that states you get 15 days before going to the store. They should have told you this when you bought it.
